Rubi Gemmell is the President of InterarchyIQ™, LLC. With roots as a technologist and CEO of a software development company, Rubi noted that her clients' solutions often were not complete via technology alone. This began her passionate quest to provide meaningful, lasting resolution to organizational issues. She focuses on creating a holistic overview of her clients' organizations so that leadership can think and act strategically
Using InterarchyIQ's™ innovative Human Interaction Mapping methodology, Rubi integrates perspectives from all levels of the organization: Executives, Managers, Technologists and Employees ... to identify opportunities for problem solving, innovation, and change.

JANE TAFT - Principal
Jane Taft is a Principal with InterarchyIQ™, LLC. She brings her strong business acumen and leadership perspective to help organizations assess their operations and improve performance, using InterarchyIQ's™ Human Interaction Mapping methodology. She has extensive experience in performance improvement consulting, business strategy facilitation, B-to-B marketing, and client management.
Jane has over 30 years of leadership experience in the financial services industry. Most recently, she was Vice President - Marketing at LandAmerica Financial Group, where she built the marketing function for the newly-created Lender Services Division. She has also worked with Capital One and SunTrust, Inc. in client management, strategic marketing, and business planning roles.
Jane is a summa cum laude graduate of Duke University, and she holds a Graduate Degree in Banking from the Stonier Graduate School of Banking.
PHIL HALLSTEIN - Principal

Phil has worked with a range of high technology and financial organizations in the last 6 years. He is a business consultant, organizational designer, and executive coach dedicated to helping managers, teams, and businesses build powerful practices to more actively shape a successful future. He has joined InterarchyIQ as the Director of Training and has worked with a range of high technology and financial organizations in the last 6 years.
In 2005 he founded the Upside Group, a leadership development and consulting firm. Many organizations have utilized his management experience and program design skills to generate faster cycle times, more responsive business processes, better-coordinated leadership teams, and higher levels of customer satisfaction. He has helped executives and managers create service cultures that foster greater accountability, commitment, and ownership.
For the previous 7 years Phil was a partner of SportsMind, an innovative leadership and management development company. His programs were applied in various corporate cultures to produce greater employee productivity and business results. For example, at Capital One a dynamic financial services company, he designed and led a long-term leadership program, an executive level change management program called Transforming for Success, and a corporate wide Cultural Values program for 8,000 Associates.
Phil has an outstanding track record for tackling the complicated problems of organizational leadership and business management. As a co-founder of Business Design Associates, an international consulting firm, he designed and conducted consulting engagements to improve teamwork and business processes around the world: ABB in Sweden, Agip Petroli in Italy, and Ontario Hydro in Toronto.
For over 30 years Phil has shown a commitment to improving his client's personal productivity and organizational effectiveness. At Action Technologies, a leader in workflow-enabled software systems, Phil was Director of Consulting. He created successful process redesign programs for Pacific Bell, Warner Bros. and Saturn. Before this, Phil led his own international management consulting and training firm in New York, which specialized in middle and executive level strategic planning and leadership. His client roster included American Express, Smith Barney, BBDO Advertising and Young & Rubicam. In his early career, Phil worked for EF Hutton as the Director of Marketing Communications, and with Young & Rubicam in Account Management, Strategic Planning and New Product Development for Fortune 500 consumer packaged goods companies.
Phil started his career as a professional balloonist in New York. He became a certified FAA examiner and opened one of the first FAA certified Balloon Inspection Facilities on the east coast. He currently lives with his wife and two daughters in Marin County, California.
BEN BARBRO - Principal
Ben is a Principal with Interarchy IQ™, LLC. He is an experienced TOGAF Enterprise Architect and leader in delivering successful technology implementations. Ben's experience is deep in both facilitating human interaction mapping and deploying best practices in technology architecture. His unique skillset leverages the InterarchyIQ methodology to optimize and mature core, strategic, organization-wide processes, and inform the enterprise architecture design to drive sustainable change for clients.
Ben's experience with the Action Cycle and mapping human interactions extends over 10 years and has worked with Interarchy in many settings in military, financial services, and utility sectors. His unique experience leads organizations to integrate the practices of InterarchyIQ into their business and technology organizations.
He comes from American Express as a Director of Technical Delivery for their Consumer Services business. Prior to his role as Director, Ben structured strategy and delivering capabilities as an American Express Business Architect. Ben was also an Enterprise Architecture consultant for Metastorm, a software development company focused on developing Enterprise Architecture software and used it to deliver best practice guidance to clients in government, life sciences, retail and financial services.
